Darth Phyrras

Darth Phyrras has survived her superiors, and has never forgiven them for it. She was an apprentice when the Empire took Ryloth, embedded in an offensive on the west hemisphere of the planet. The assault collapsed under bad intelligence and dull decisions, and Phyrras paid for it with both legs, one arm, and much of her side, left barely breathing in the wreckage of a plan she had no authority to correct. She would have preferred the Sith let her die there, but once again her betters proved incapable of making the correct choice and dragged her back from the brink to continue fighting for their cause. From that moment on, Phyrras learned to expect nothing from authority except error, and she has shaped herself around that expectation with her own discipline. The lesson Ryloth carved into her is simple: wars are lost long before the first shot, and she will never allow herself - or the Empire - to bleed for someone else's incompetence again.
